My defining moment was in 2003, when I was given my best piece of worldly advice by a Major General, quite simply "Don't believe what you read in the papers". Therefore surely the only way to draw you own opinions of the world is to go out and experience it for yourself. Andy.
My defining moment has to be when I was driving through southern India in an auto-rickshaw in the dark, during a monsoon, with no electric windscreen wiper, no lights or horn, gigantic hidden potholes, no idea where the edge of the road was, Andy ill in the back holding a mobile phone as a torch, oncoming lorries and lost with a compass and no map.
